S1rva removed from the active ENCE Academy roster

ENCE Academy’s IGL, Veeti "S1rva" Sirva, has been moved to the bench.

After careful consideration and evaluation, ENCE Academy has decided to look for a new in-game leader. Veeti "S1rva" Sirva, who’s been with the roster since its inception, has been benched and is open to pursuing new opportunities and in-game roles in Finland or internationally.

ENCE Academy Program Lead Eemeli "Woomera" Ikonen warmly recalls S1rva’s optimistic attitude and contagious positivity: “I couldn't have asked for a better IGL to start the ENCE Academy journey in 2022. S1rva is a person whose glass is always half full and has had a huge impact on building our team spirit. During these two years, he led us to many achievements, with better results than we initially dared to hope for. It has been a privilege to work with someone like him. I fully support S1rva’s decision to step down from the IGL position and wish him all the best in looking for new challenges in a different in-game role.”

S1rva’s presence has been instrumental in ENCE Academy's success. Securing a qualification early on to Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 was a rare chance for the fresh team to play in an arena and gain valuable experience. The team has continued developing together and as individual players, with S1rva leading them into unique tournaments such as Mistgames Heroes of Lofoten and their first LAN victory at Assembly Winter 2024.

“My time in ENCE has concluded, and I leave with many memories I’ll cherish forever. During these years, I've had the chance to learn many things inside and outside of the game. I'm very thankful to my teammates who helped me start my journey as an IGL. For now, I have decided to step down from this role. This change has given me back the passion to become the best version of myself and to help my team always succeed. Last but not least, I want to thank ENCE and everyone involved in the organization for always being there for me and helping me with everything. ENCE will always be in my heart, and, who knows, maybe my path will one day lead me back here.”

With his positivity, energy, and hard work toward his goals, S1rva supported his teammates and helped push them further, cementing their status atop the Finnish scene. Over the course of two years, he has established himself as one of the prominent IGLs in Finland. It’s a testament to S1rva's dedication and contributions that our Academy team core has stayed together for as long as they have. He has left a lasting mark on our story, and we want to thank him for his time with us.

Eemeli "Woomera" Ikonen outlines the plans for ENCE Academy: “We are looking for an IGL with a fresh new perspective to lead this talented team. We want to continue nurturing skilled young players and ensuring their development continues well into the future.”

As we navigate this roster adjustment, we are fortunate to have Ahmet "2high" Baftijari stepping in as a temporary stand-in for the time being, including Elisa Pro Open 6 and CCT Season 2 EU Series 2.
