ENCE CS Coach update

Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński has been removed from the active roster, and won’t participate in ESL Pro League Season 20.

The ENCE CS2 team performance hasn’t been on a level that meets our expectations. We are taking steps to get back on track, and are now looking for a new head coach. Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński has been placed on the bench and won’t be coaching the roster at the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 20 in Malta.

Our general manager, Niklas "Willkey" Ojalainen, opens the situation further: “kuben has a clear vision of his craft and playstyle, and unfortunately, we weren’t able to align it with ours. This of course leads us now to seek a new direction, to find someone who sees the game in a similar way as our players want to play it. I personally want to thank kuben for his time with us, and I truly hope he finds the team where his vision can do wonders.”

Further evaluation of the ENCE CS2 team will take place after the ESL Pro League.

Thank you, kuben

Kuben joined ENCE at a time when major changes were taking place. Stepping into an evolving situation with roster changes, he took the reins of the head coach quickly and firmly into his hands. We want to thank kuben for his professionalism, work ethic, and passion. We are happy to have shared a important moment together: competing in the Quarterfinals of IEM Katowice, playing on stage in front of his huge live-home audience.
