Young new talents join ENCE Academy – welcome Aleksi "millert" Lehtopuu and Giorgi "Schwarz" Gakhokidze.
With Paavo "podi" Heiskanen moving to the main roster in May and Henri "HENU" Ylilehto’s contract ending at the end of June, we were left with two spots to fill in our Academy roster. Now, we are excited to welcome new young guns into the team as Aleksi "millert" Lehtopuu and Giorgi "Schwarz" Gakhokidze join our ranks.
Welcome millert
Having previously stepped into the roster as a substitute, the 17-year-old Aleksi "millert" Lehtopuu now officially joins the Academy and permanently fills the spot of a Finnish AWP talent. Millert has previously played in the Finnish roster, Enhanced, and has also already made a mark in the international scene by playing in the Sprout’s Academy team in the spring.
Welcome Schwarz
Hailing from Georgia, the 16-year-old Giorgi “Schwarz” Gakhokidze is our second international player added to the Academy roster. Just like his previous team’s name, The Prodigies, suggests, Schwarz is a very promising young talent ready to make his name heard!
Academy head coach, George "Whitey" White, hypes up the new players: “We are always on the lookout for new rising stars, so it was a no-brainer to bring in Schwarz and millert to show that raw desire and hunger to be the next best. Having a hungry young core as well as a more senior player, 2high, working closely alongside me, the sky is the limit for this team!
After the player break, we want to introduce a deep schedule to fuel this hunger, hit any goals we’ve set, and prove ourselves as a squad for the remainder of 2024!
