Last year we saw ASUS ROG relaunch their SC2 competitions with Assembly Summer - Now, they're back with an online event to celebrate the 10-year-old StarCraft 2!
We're nearing the end of the year, but there are still a couple of chances to affect the EPT standings, which determine who we'll see in the World Championships in Katowice next year. ASUS ROG Online 2020 is one of these stops with $15,000 USD and 1,280 points up for grabs.
Serral has already gathered plenty of these points and has qualified along with Reynor and Clem to the Global Finals: Main Stage. But he still has a title to claim after losing it to Stats in Assembly Summer 2019. Can the Koreans strike back after the Foreigners dominated DreamHack SC2 Masters: Winter?
Group Stage:
- 16 players in 4 groups of 4 players each, played in a Dual Tournament Format.
- All Matches are Bo5.
- Top 2 players of each group advance to the Playoffs.
Playoffs:
- 8 players in a single-elimination bracket.
- Quarterfinals and Semifinals are Bo5.
- Finals are Bo7.
